About IRONBOND

IRONBOND makes pre-glued iron-on edging tape in real wood veneer, the fastest way to turn a raw chipboard or plywood edge into a finished one. No press, no contact adhesive: a household iron on the cotton setting bonds the tape in about forty seconds a metre.

What we make

The product

Real wood, ready to bond

Genuine timber veneer with hot-melt adhesive already on the back. Iron it on, trim the overhang, and a raw board edge looks like solid wood, because the surface is solid wood.

Who we sell to

Weekend makers and the trade

The same tape in two lengths: 7.5 m rolls for weekend cabinet makers, 50 m rolls for fitters and joinery shops that edge boards all day.

Where to buy

Direct from this site, or on Amazon under the IRONBOND® brand. Same rolls, same batches, same quality, whichever way you order.

The company

District 11 Limited is the legal company. IRONBOND is its registered UK trade mark and trading brand, and ironbond.co is the website for the products it sells here and on Amazon.

The same company operates District Eleven FC and the club's website district11.co.uk, which is why both use the same email domain. IRONBOND sponsors the club. More about the sponsorship.

Company and trade mark documents are available on request: sales@ironbond.co.
